Charming pub atmosphere, Picturesque setting, Historical character in decor
The steepness of the stairs could be unnerving for older guests!!! Noise from the bar interferes with a restful night!!! More communication about menu changes during busy times would greatly improve the experience!!!

Couple's hidden gem
Everything was just perfect, like that big comfy bed I collapsed into after a long day. The food was fantastic, especially that rich chocolate raspberry torte, it was like nothing else.
It wasn’t cheap but honestly, worth every single penny.

Cozy spot with fab food
We had a lovely couple of nights here. The food was really good, especially the innovative veggie dishes! The outdoor space is perfect for chilling out. Loved the super comfy king-sized bed, but the drink prices felt a bit steep for what you get. a nice old pub vibe with friendly service.

Charming atmosphere and delicious food
We had a lovely one-night stay in the Junior Suite. The comfortable room offered stunning views, and the atmosphere of the inn was enchanting, enhanced by the resident parrot, Captain. The home-cooked dinner was exquisite, highlighting locally sourced ingredients, and breakfast was equally delightful with various options. the only downside was the steep stairs, which might be challenging for some.

Perfect escape in a lovely setting
We had a fab time here! The room was spacious and super comfy. The food was to die for! There was a cute parrot that made the stay even more fun. The staff were great, really friendly. Only bummer was it took a while to get our meals out one night, but it was worth the wait!

We had a lovely stay in a spacious Deluxe King Room, and the food was delicious, both for dinner and breakfast. The garden area was perfect for lounging and enjoying the fresh air. We had fun playing with Captain the parrot. The only minor thing was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, but that didn’t ruin our experience at all. I’d definitely recommend checking it out! 🦜

Cozy atmosphere mixed with historical character makes this spot a unique retreat. The outdoor seating area features a picturesque garden with a stream, perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day of exploring.
The stairways leading up to the upstairs rooms are steep, which may pose a challenge for seniors or those with mobility issues. the room I stayed in overlooked a noisy fan in the small yard, disrupting sleep quality despite efforts to keep the windows closed. The main bedroom's lighting felt inadequate, making the space a bit dim, and improvements to carpet and decor could enhance the overall charm significantly.
